Villa Rosebery

The Villa Rosebery is one of the three official residences of the President of the Italian Republic (the other two being the Quirinal Palace and the Castelporziano estate in Rome).

Villa Rosebery is situated in Naples and it is so named because it was owned by the glamorous British Prime Minister Archibald Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery (Liberal, 1894-1895). Some guests of Rosebery's during his residency include King Edward VII and Oscar Wilde.
